One of our most popular designs our full length dungarees are an everyday wardrobe staple.
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR FABRIC + PLACE YOUR ORDER:
1. Choose your fabric by heading to our instagram fabric gallery
Each fabric has a reference number & details of which of our designs + sizes it is suitable for. Comment on the instagram post or email us via info@theemperorsoldclothes.co.uk to reserve it – we generally only have enough of each fabric for 1-2 garments so this step is really important!
2. Place your order here – double-check you have the correct garment style.
Your fabric reservation lasts for 72 hours so please place your order during this time otherwise the fabric will become available to other customers.
Important: make sure to write your size + fabric reference number in the order notes when you are entering your payment details.
3. Sit back, make a cup of tea + get excited about your one of a kind garment!
GARMENT DETAILS:
Like all our playsuits & dungarees, these dungarees come with a side popper, zip fastening, metal brace clips and adjustable shoulder straps for your comfort.
WAYS TO WEAR:
For all year round wear style your dungarees with a high-neck top underneath and ankle boots to keep you warm in the colder months.
Our dungarees are super comfortable to wear and look great with a plain grey or white top underneath. Pair with sandals or trainers & a trusty basket for dressed down summer days.
Dress them up for the evening with classic black top and your favourite heels.
Feel good fashion! These dungarees will be created by our small team in our Brighton studio for a living wage. Every piece we make is totally unique and will not be reproduced.

My first pair of Emperor’s dungarees were actually from their ready-to-wear rack, in a really cute ditsy multicolour lightweight cotton material. When I tried it on, it was so much comfier than I imagined, and it fit SO well, that it re-ignited my love for dungarees and I never looked back! I have a design-your-own pair in a beautiful floral cotton canvas which I wear regularly (and get so many compliments on), and two more pairs of dungarees in-the-making! My go-to features are the tapered bib, hook-and-bar fastening, buckles + button combo (though Jodie and Cecily have now convinced me that shoulder ties would be just as amazing too), side seam pockets (they’re so deep you could probably fit the contents of a small handbag in each), crotch reinforcement (thick thighs save lives), and elastic in the waistband (it just makes it so much comfier). Cecily also suggested using a contrast fabric in the pant leg at the end, so they could be rolled up – and this has been my most favourite feature for the dungarees by far. Get yourself a pair, you won’t regret it! 🙂
