Hi I’m Cecily and I founded The Emperor’s Old Clothes in 2012. As a co-owner I work alongside Louisa to design all our garment styles + features. I pattern-cut all our designs for Louisa to sample, and I work within the cutting team with Nicki to cut out all your design your own garments and accessories.
I also run our customer service + sales with Alice – if you get in touch whether via email or Instagram it’s very likely to be myself or Alice answering your queries and helping you design your wardrobe with us.
Louisa + I oversee marketing with Jodie, creating all our fun content + documenting our work.
I have the amazing job of sourcing many of our beautiful fabrics + I do lots of the less exciting, but necessary jobs which make up the day-to-day aspects of running + growing the business.
