HOW DO I DESIGN MY OWN OUTFIT WITH YOU?
Head to our Design Your Own page and follow the steps to identify your size with us, pick your favourite garment design and fabric.
Place your order making sure you choose all your extra features – please leave any extra questions or requests in the order notes.

HOW CAN I SEE YOUR SELECTION OF FABRICS TO CHOOSE MY FAVOURITE?
We have the pleasure of working with beautiful but very limited quantities of vintage and end-of-roll fabrics. You can see a selection of our fabrics on our Design Your Own page as well as in our Instagram gallery @emperorsfabrics.
If you’re interested in seeing more fabric options please get in touch via our Contact page, send us a direct message on Instagram or by email via firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred colours/prints.
Please note Most of the time we only have enough to make one garment or outfit from each fabric. Due to the limited edition nature of each fabric, we recommend that you get in touch as soon as you spot a fabric that you like. We are happy to reserve a fabric for you for up to 72 hours whilst you decide what garment or accessory you’d like to order – MyEmperors members can reserve fabrics for up to 7 days.
WHAT ARE FABRIC FIRST LOOKS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?
We give our MyEmperors loyalty club members a first look at our latest vintage + dead-stock fabric finds up to four times a year.
We send members a link to a folder of images of fabrics which have not yet been listed online which they can reserve via email.
Once reserved they can design garments of their choice from our range to designs.
HOW CAN I JOIN THE MYEMPERORS CLUB?
For exclusive competitions, quarterly fabric first looks and more head to the MyEmperors page to become a member for free today.
CAN I GET FABRIC FIRST LOOKS WITHOUT JOINING THE MYEMPERORS LOYALTY CLUB?
No, this service is exclusively for members.
IS THERE A FEE FOR THE MYEMPERORS LOYALTY CLUB?
No – membership is free. Simply sign up via the form on the MyEmperors page.
HOW CAN I USE A PAYMENT PLAN TO MAKE MY PURCHASE?
You can split the cost of your ready-to-wear garment or ‘design your own’ garment into payments across 2-3 months with our payment plans.
To make a purchase using a payment plan simply add the items you want to purchase to your cart and select the ‘Pay Deposit’ option then choose between ‘2 months’ or ‘3 months’ to set up your payment plan.
Your item(s) will be sent to you in the post when the final payment has been received.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT SIZE I AM?
Check out our Size Guide for a breakdown of our standard sizes.
90% of our customers are in between sizes. If this is you and you want to design your own garment via our website please enter the bigger size of the two sizes that your measurements fall between when searching for your fabric on our Design your own page in order to ensure we definitely have enough fabric to complete your garment.

We are more than happy to alter our ready-to-wear designs to your requirements wherever possible or to create you a personalised pattern allowing you to choose your fabric with our Design Your Own service.
We keep all personalised patterns on file so you can order your favourite designs in a variety of colours and prints.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH THE FIT OF MY GARMENT?
We want you to be 100% happy with the fit of your handmade clothing. If you have an issue with any aspect of the fit please don’t hesitate to get in touch by email via email@example.com to explain what’s not feeling right.
Sometimes items of clothing just need a couple of small tweaks to get that perfect fit. To help us help you as quickly as possible please include a couple of images of yourself in the garment so we can see best how to alter it to your body.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY EMPEROR’S CLOTHING?
When you buy from us you are buying a garment for life. To get the most out of your handmade garment be sure to read and follow the care instructions on the garment label.
Wash any machine wash items on a cool temperature (30 degrees centigrade).
We recommend using a GuppyFriend to help catch microfibres from synthetic or mixed fibre fabrics to stop them entering the water systems.
Iron ‘machine wash’ items with care. Turn the garment instead out and using a press cloth such as a pillowcase in between the iron and garment.
Remember we are always on hand to adjust waistbands, alter hems, add linings and more. Make sure you get in touch via our Contact page or by email via firstname.lastname@example.org for personal guidance on your item.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. We offer the option to return any of our ready-to-wear items for a refund or store credit within 14 days. We require that you contact us via email within 7 days of receiving your item to request a return.

We are unable to offer a refund on any ready to wear items that have been customised.
Design your own garments are also non-refundable.
