DESCRIPTION

Our pinafore dress is a fun take on dungarees for those who don’t like to wear trousers.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR FABRIC + PLACE YOUR ORDER:

1. Choose your fabric by heading to our instagram fabric gallery

Each fabric has a reference number & details of which of our designs + sizes it is suitable for. Comment on the instagram post or email us via info@theemperorsoldclothes.co.uk to reserve it – we generally only have enough of each fabric for 1-2 garments so this step is really important!

2. Place your order here – double-check you have the correct garment style.

Your fabric reservation lasts for 72 hours so please place your order during this time otherwise the fabric will become available to other customers.

Important: make sure to write your size + fabric reference number in the order notes when you are entering your payment details.

3. Sit back, make a cup of tea + get excited about your one of a kind garment!

GARMENT DETAILS:

Like all our playsuits & dungarees, this dungaree dress comes with a side popper, zip fastening, metal brace clips and adjustable shoulder straps for your comfort.

Our pinafore dress is a modern, more simple take on day dresses from the 1950s.

WAYS TO WEAR:

For all year round wear style the dress with a high-neck top underneath and ankle boots to keep you warm in the colder months.

Dress up with clutch bag & heels or go for a relaxed feel with summer basket, sunglasses & sandals.

When the temperature drops just add tights, ankle boots & a cosy knit for all year round joy.

Feel good fashion! This pinafore dress will be created by our small team in our Brighton studio for a living wage. Every piece we make is totally unique and will not be reproduced.

UK 6-8 / EUR 34 / US 2-4 = length from waist 19.5″

Design your own orders are non-returnable + non-refundable. If the fit isn’t quite right when your garment arrives, we work with you to get it just right!

All the drama of a full skater skirt, yet all the ease of wear of a dungaree item. I love a pinafore and hugely recommend…. why not add a fun contrast patch pocket to make it even happier? I have a pinafore in corduroy and have to say it is one of my most sensory joyful outfits = with its swish, with its amazing full skirt and with its ease of wear. I love it so much I even got a matching crop top to make the outfit into an almost-dress!

I absolutely adore my pinafore dress. I went for a medium weight green linen (unlined) and side seam pockets. You can barely tell the pockets are there and the gather/ with my fabric choice makes anything in my pockets basically unnoticeable. Love the twirl factor and how the waist band and straps work well not to put too much pressure on any one body part even though it’s a fairly heavy bit of clothing
