How to choose your fabric + place your order:

1. Choose your fabric by heading to our instagram fabric gallery

Each fabric has a reference number & details of which of our designs + sizes it is suitable for. Comment on the instagram post or email us via info@theemperorsoldclothes.co.uk to reserve it – we generally only have enough of each fabric for 1-2 garments so this step is really important!

2. Place your order here – double-check you have the correct garment type.

Your fabric reservation lasts for 72 hours so please place your order during this time otherwise the fabric will become available to other customers.

Important: make sure to write your size, sleeve preference + fabric reference number in the order notes when you are entering your payment details.

3. Sit back, make a cup of tea + get excited about your one of a kind garment!

Handmade from scratch with high quality fabrics, our high-waisted shorts have a side popper and side zip fastening.

Our high-waisted shorts are a modern, more simple take on shorts from the 1950s

WAYS TO WEAR:

This high-waisted short jumpsuit is for all year round wear: when the temperature drops add boots, high socks & some cosy knits to the whole ensemble.

Feel good fashion! This shorts jumpsuit will be created by our team in our Brighton + Hove studio for a living wage. Every piece we make is totally unique and will not be reproduced.

All our clothing and accessories are hand-tailored from scratch in our Brighton + Hove studio. Every item we create is completely unique and created using mainly vintage and end-of-roll fabrics so no two items are the same.

UK 6-8 / EUR 34 / US 2-4 = length from waist 15″

UK 14-16 / EUR 40 / US 12-14 = length from waist 15.5″

My shorts jumpsuit is my most worn emperors garment this summer. I find jumpsuits a pain to get in and out of but the perfect fit of this means it’s much easier to navigate, perfect for a festival or day out at the park.

I went for sleeveless with armhole frills in a colourful gingham. It’s had lots of compliments!
