This fabric is a medium / heavy weight brocade fabric often also referred to as jacquard. It is a beautiful fabric which can be used to create lots of different garment types for a more formal garment
Whilst this fabric is not especially drapey it has enough structure and movement to hold the silhouettes of garment features nicely. It is often made from silk or mix fibres. It is a textured woven fabric with a floral or abstract pattern woven into it at construction. It works well across all our designs (trousers, coats and jackets would be on the lighter weight side) and may need lining depending on the garment type you choose – see “our recommendations” tab

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Some of our fabrics are more delicate than our machine wash fabrics, while we would put a dry clean label on a garment made from this fabric, careful washing of this fabric is most likely possible. This fabric could be machine washed with care. Please see the advise below on using you fabric sample and for ways that this fabric could possibly be cared for.
Dry clean or wash with great care
Use fabric sample sent with garment to test wash. Measure sample before and after wash. Take photo of sample to check difference in fabric before or after. Cut sample in half, measure both, compare after one has been through a wash cycle
Gentle machine wash
Use “delicate” wash cycle or “hand wash” cycle
Use a pillow case or garment bag to protect garment while in washing machine
Wash by hand
Wash at 30 or below
Low Spin cycle- 600 or 800
Iron on low to medium heat- Use test sample to test for ironing garment
Line / Hanger / Clotheshorse dry
Reshape garment before leaving to dry
Alternative ways to washing your garment to keep it fresh and give your garment more longevity
– Hang up for a few days to air
– Hang up in shower room for steaming
– Spot wash stains rather than wash whole garment

Design your own garments take approximately 6-9 weeks to create before they are shipped.
Design your own coats and silk chiffon garments take approximately 10-12 weeks to create before they are shipped.
Please note that any garments ordered during a flash sale take approximately 10-12 weeks to create before they are shipped.
If you would prefer to receive your order more quickly you can add a ‘Jump the queue’ surcharge to your order when you are on the checkout page and your garment will be created in 3-4 weeks then shipped to you.
Please note it is one Jump the queue surcharge per one garment so if you are ordering multiple garments you will need to add multiple ‘Jump the queue’ surcharges. ‘Jump the queue slots are subject to availability – if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
