Some of our fabrics are more delicate than our machine wash fabrics, while we would put a dry clean label on a garment made from this fabric, careful washing of this fabric is most likely possible. This fabric could be machine washed with care. Please see the advise below on using you fabric sample and for ways that this fabric could possibly be cared for.
Dry clean or wash with great care
Use fabric sample sent with garment to test wash. Measure sample before and after wash. Take photo of sample to check difference in fabric before or after. Cut sample in half, measure both, compare after one has been through a wash cycle
Gentle machine wash
Use “delicate” wash cycle or “hand wash” cycle
Use a pillow case or garment bag to protect garment while in washing machine
Wash by hand
Wash at 30 or below
Low Spin cycle- 600 or 800
Iron on low to medium heat- Use test sample to test for ironing garment
Line / Hanger / Clotheshorse dry
Reshape garment before leaving to dry
Alternative ways to washing your garment to keep it fresh and give your garment more longevity
– Hang up for a few days to air
– Hang up in shower room for steaming
– Spot wash stains rather than wash whole garment

Resale garments are shipped within five days of purchase. If you are having alterations made to your garment it will be added to the alterations queue and shipped when it is ready. Alteration times can differ depending on the complexity of the alteration and how busy we are so please enquire.

RETURNS
Resale garment orders that are not altered in any way may be returned for a full refund. You must contact us via email to info@theemperorsoldclothes.co.uk within 21 days of your shipping date to be eligible for a refund. After 21 days we cannot offer a refund.
Resale orders that have been altered in any way are non-returnable + non-refundable. If the fit isn’t quite right when your garment arrives, we work with you to get it just right! Simply get in touch with us within 14 days of receiving your order to discuss your alteration
